The first part involved collaborating with the client on-site to conduct a gap analysis and map its requirements to the Oracle technology.

We studied the client’s system, redesigned outdated legacy models to meet current business needs and implemented the new Oracle solution. We were able to reduce this customer’s maintenance costs by leveraging Latis’s offshore team. An important aspect of this project was to bring the sales and marketing organization together with the supply chain organization.

To facilitate this integration, we developed a working prototype to accelerate implementation. This step provided us a mechanism to gain stakeholder input and involvement early on, prompting design decisions that may not have been addressed as rapidly with only a conceptual design, and enabling the team to identify and overcome technical issues upfront.

We also incorporated Oracle AIM document templates into our process, making it easy for the customer’s team to gracefully step in and follow these standards moving forward.
